To enable its members to enjoy a unique shopping experience, Veepee relies on the know-how of the Information Systems Department (ISD).
These men and women are the guarantors of the smooth running of the Veepee site. Together, they improve the daily lives of Veepee's teams and members by designing and developing high-performance applications and software. Innovation is at the heart of their mission.
Each year, Veepee invests nearly 100 million euros and accelerates its R&D and Open Innovation policy.
To continue to innovate, the group has also set up an in-house innovation lab in partnership with the Ecole 42 in France. In 2022, Veepee is launching a new innovation lab in Spain.

Production of sales,
the music conductors of sales
They take over from the sales teams in charge of negotiating the inventories with the partner brands. The sales managers (RDV) assigned to the Production of Sales (PDV) are genuine music conductors. Together, they coordinate the set up of each event sale from A to Z.
From creation to placing online, they assist the brands thanks to their triple creative, sales and marketing expertise. Their mission: create a unique event sale that meets as close as possible the needs and requirements of brands.
The jobs
They make sure that the identity of the partner brands present on the Veepee website is respected. They are producers, sales managers or administrators. Together, these music conductors set the music for each of the event sales that represent the site’s offer on a daily basis.
The Digital Factory’s creatives
Inaugurated in 2010 in Seine-Saint-Denis, the Digital Factory welcomes creatives teams in charge to create digital catalogues and imagine original film sets to achieve superb presentations of the products on Veepee. Their mission: design each sale, a genuine image campaign, in close collaboration with the brand managers.
In the context of its development strategy, and in its ambition to support the brands in the creation of their digital catalogues, Veepee partnered with Nikon-MRMC and its technological expertise to go a step further in the development of innovative photo and video production technologies. And provide a more immersive environment for the visitor, by offering them an enhanced apprehension of the product.
In 2021, the site places on line more than 25 000 digital events.

They are the soul of this artistic production factory, a genuine hive teeming with Veepee talents.
The masters of logistics
Everyday, more than 77,000 parcels are shipped by the employees of Veepee who make up the Supply Chain teams. Their mission: control and synchronise information exchanges and flows with the brands. To provide members with the best service and improve logistics execution, Veepee has developed its own in-house Supply Chain since its creation in 2001.
Group counts 13 warehouses for a total surface area of 230,000 sq. m. In France, Veepee has seven warehouses, including three in Ile-de-France and three near Lyon, for a total surface area of 155,000 sq. m.
The last warehouse was inaugurated in 2015 in Beaune.
Its surface area of 10,000 sq. m makes it possible to handle up to 10,000 orders of wine and gastronomic products a day to be shipped to destinations in Europe.
Veepee faces the challenge of delivering every day services tailored to the different sectors of ready-to-wear, home equipment, high tech, wine or gastronomy.
Logistics is based on a highly automated system of flow control that is nearly “zero defect” today. In 2015, Veepee modernised its logistics network thanks to the Knapp technology, an e-commerce solution for the automation of logistics chains, perfectly adapted to the typologies of the products sold on the site.

Thanks to them, Veepee delivers execution close to excellence. They are quality inspectors, order pickers, supervisors, logistics coordinators. The core of their mission entails preparing orders from members, the receipt and delivery of products or again collaboration with partner brands and service providers.

The Members Relation Service, building connections
Since its creation in 2001, Veepee places customer satisfaction at the heart of its strategy. Based at the headquarters, at the heart of a dedicated 1,600 sq. m building, the in-house Member Relations Department consists of 300 customer relations representatives who respond every day in five languages to demands from members. Embodying customer relations: that is their ambition.
“Customer service means serving others just as we would like to be served”, states Jacques-Antoine Granjon whose vision has allowed Veepee to win nearly thirty awards in the field of customer relations.
A success that is mainly based on the experience proposed to members. To efficiently address their needs, the teams of the Member Relations Department (SRM) have their specific areas of specialisation. Fashion, gastronomy, high tech, wine, etc. they are specialised in the issues inherent to each world. Their customer advisers are independent and capable of adapting each of their answers.
Note that to optimise response times, the Member Relations Department sorts the questions according to their level of complexity. General questions are handled by external contact centres while the most complex questions are handled in-house by the specially trained advisers.
At a time where consumers are highly vocal on social media, only an embodied and personalised customer relationship can transform an unhappy consumer into an ambassador for the brand. For Veepee, the sincerity and the desire to solve problems are the two pillars that hold up customer relations: “Since the creation of the website, we consider the Member Relations Department as a necessary investment and not as a cost. This allows us to build and retain special ties with our members and to create a relationship of trust”, stresses Jacques-Antoine Granjon.
